BBQ Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped (I like yellow or white)
  • 1 1/2 cups Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 12oz can corned beef
  • chili powder to taste
  • 4 sandwich rolls

Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a skillet until crumbly. Place browned beef with the rest of the ingredients (except the rolls) into a slow cooker. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serve on sandwich rolls.

Notes

My family likes to use corned beef hash in place of straight corn beef. It adds some extra texture and fullness to the mix.
